This rich, dark, Black mulch has a natural dye additive to make the color last longer. This  finely ground mulch is just the bark of the tree so the shredded texture is lighter and more fibrous. It is perfect for water retention and as a weed barrier to trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals and spring bulbs. We recommend a 3" layer for optimum results.
